We’re looking for a high-performing Consultant to join our team. This is a hands-on role for a teammate that thrives in dynamic environments, leads with integrity, and is ready to shape both project outcomes and the future of our firm.

Lead defined workstreams for client projects focused on community engagement, Indigenous inclusion, and social performance across energy, mining, and infrastructure sectors.
Ability and accountability to project manage workstreams and designated client relationships.
Take ownership of specific project components, including baseline studies, stakeholder mapping, impact analysis, public involvement programs, and stewarding regulatory processes requiring public and Indigenous engagement activities.
Collaborate with communities on rights-based initiatives, including projects connected to Bill C-92 (child and family services reform) and Section 35 rights, ensuring culturally respectful and inclusive approaches.
Design and implement engagement strategies, risk assessments, and community benefit plans, providing recommendations and delivering outputs clients.
Manage project coordination activities for assigned workstreams, including scheduling, logistics, meeting facilitation, note-taking, and action tracking.
Build and maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders through respectful, culturally aware engagement.
Contribute to business development by leading the preparation of proposal sections, creating client-ready materials, and maintaining client records.
Represent Neighbourly at client meetings, workshops, conferences, and community sessions, acting as a lead contributor and strengthening the presence of the firm.
Other duties as assigned and required, with it being acknowledged and accepted that you will need to be adaptive, flexible, highly motivated and solutions-focused in the services you provide and value you bring to Neighbourly Advisory Inc. in order to meet the growth needs of the firm.
Ensure excellent written and verbal communication skills are always employed both externally and internally.
Occasional travel will be required to perform the functions of the role.

8-12 years of experience (work or internship) in consulting, community engagement, Indigenous relations, social performance, or related fields.
Project management experience in community engagement and regulatory frameworks.
Strong organizational and coordination skills, with an ability to support multi-stakeholder projects.
Interest in social risk, community benefits, and Indigenous partnerships, with a willingness to learn from senior colleagues.
Good communication skills — written, verbal, and facilitation — and a comfort engaging with diverse groups.
Collaborative mindset with a desire to grow within a purpose-driven consultancy.
Flexibility to travel to client and community sites as needed.

Project delivery: On-time, on-budget delivery of high-quality work aligned with Neighbourly’s standards.

Assist with community collaboration on rights-based initiatives
Contribute to project delivery by supporting baseline studies, stakeholder mapping, impact analysis, and reporting for Social Impact Assessments (SIA).
Help design and implement engagement strategies, risk assessments, and community benefit plans under the guidance of senior team members.
Provide project coordination support, including scheduling, meeting preparation, note-taking, and follow-up.
Engage with stakeholders respectfully and with cultural awareness, building trust in client and community relationships.
Assist in business development activities, such as preparing proposals, developing materials, and maintaining client records.
Represent the team at client meetings, workshops, or community sessions as appropriate, helping to strengthen Neighbourly’s presence.

Position Overview
The Corporate Services Coordinator plays a central role in supporting the internal operations of Neighbourly. This position is responsible for coordinating administrative functions across bookkeeping support, office operations, human resources administration, scheduling, document management, and administrative support.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes initiative, and brings strong attention to detail and professionalism to everything they do.

Administrative and office coordination
Coordinate day-to-day office operations and administrative functions
Manage calendars, meeting scheduling, travel arrangements, and team logistics
Support onboarding and offboarding activities for staff and contractors
Maintain organized digital filing systems, templates, and internal records
Coordinate office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships
Assist with internal communications and team coordination
Bookkeeping and financial administration
Support bookkeeping activities including invoice preparation, expense tracking, and reconciliation support
Coordinate accounts payable and receivable tracking
Liaise with external accounting providers and support monthly reporting processes
Maintain organized financial documentation and records
Assist with timesheet tracking and expense submissions
Human resources support
Support recruitment coordination, interview scheduling, and onboarding logistics
Maintain employee files and HR documentation
Coordinate training records, certifications, and internal policy acknowledgements
Support benefits administration and employee-related coordination
Assist in maintaining positive team culture and employee experience initiatives
Operational Support
Assist with proposal formatting, document preparation, and quality control
Support the implementation and maintenance of internal systems and processes
Help coordinate team events, workshops, and client-related logistics
Provide general operational support to leadership and project teams as needed

3 -7 years of experience in administration, operations, office management, or corporate services roles
Experience supporting bookkeeping or financial administration functions
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and virtual collaboration tools
Experience in a consulting, professional services, energy, mining, or Indigenous relations environment is considered an asset
